| The modular design of Capricorn 2000 EX weather stations provides professional-grade data capture, storage and transfer with a rugged, Stainless Steel & Aluminum construction.
Designed around the Control Module, this flexible system can easily accept
signal inputs from a wide variety of meteorological sensors.
Data is viewed using the Capricorn 2000 Weather Display Console and/or
computer weather software connected to the Control Module via dual RS-232
serial ports.
The Control Module is housed in a WeatherProof enclosure which includes a data
logger storing up to 511 records at user-defined intervals. Dual on-board
RS-232 interface ports allow simultaneous connection to CWS proprietary
Weather Display Console, modem, or directly to a computer.
This standard system comes with wind speed and direction sensor (anemometer), barometric
pressure sensor, temperature probe, relative humidity probe, self-aspirating
radiation shield, rain gauge and wireless transceiver with 3 Mile line-of-sight range @ 2.4GHz. The Optional additions include a heated rain gauge,
soil temperature probes, soil moisture probes, solar radiation (pyranometer)
sensor and leaf wetness sensor. |
