Versus WMR 968, Davis Pro 1 - Forecasting more accurate -Wind direction and velocity more sensitive -Temps accurate -Installation easy -Oregon Scientific's customer service is ZERO -Install Zephyr base batteries first, remote sensor second -Heed the wind indicator warning. Compass markings hard to read. -Put together and test on a work bench -Use a 3/4 gray PVC pipe for a roof mast Weather Buff's service is EXCELLENT!!!

I wanted to have touch screen but I'm on a budget this year
Most of the touch screen models are easily $200+ but this one was only $160 shipped! Talked to WeatherBuffs techs who were extremely informative and even gave me a live comparison of readings from 6 different units. I was suprised to hear how far off the 3610 and WMR968 was and even more happy to hear how close it was to a VantagePro2 (he says thats the standard in weather stations but I dont have $440 to spend...). Basically, its comparable to a 3610 and WMR968 that sells for $220+ and since I dont need PC connection that saved me more than $70+! DEAL!
