Following the popular WS-2000 weather station, RainWise introduces the MK III. It is a wireless, solar powered weather station with new features - including integrated rain gauge and multi-display. The MK III wireless Weather Station is easy to install and use. The roof top sensor assembly is wireless and solar powered, allowing it to operate for many years without servicing. With a range of up to 400 feet at 315mhz you can place Oracle displays almost anywhere in your home or office.

With the computer interface you can collect, analyze and build a data base of your local weather.

The MK III Sensor Assembly broadcasts the weather data to one or more receivers, such as the Weather Oracle Display, Weather Oracle MK III & Computer Interface (see below). This means that you can have as many displays and computer interfaces in a building as you like, using just one sensor assembly - Great for condominiums, schools, offices, etc. A new feature to the MK III is the option for a wireless yard-mount rain gauge. If the rain collector ever needs cleaning, the yard mount is easily accessible.


The MK III Wireless Sensor Assembly, the Weather Oracle, the Weather Oracle MK III and the Computer Interface are Guaranteed for two (2) years. The solar panel is guaranteed for five (5) years.
 
ALL Features
The solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continues operation below 60 degrees latitude. The MK III will operate for at least 60 days without sun.

Since there is no connection between the sensors and the power line, damage from thunderstorms is virtually eliminated and the sensors are immune to power line voltage surges.

The initial sensor calibrations for wind, temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

The passive solar shield for the temperature and humidity sensors are modeled after the ones designed by the National Weather Service.

All materials used in the sensor assembly and weather instruments have been chosen for their durability and resistance to weathering and corrosion. All of our weather station hardware is stainless steel. The station is fabricated from fiberglass and structural PVC and is ultra-violet inhibited. The optional Mono Mount is made from powder coated steel and is supplied with bolts for mounting.

What a great weather station! September 5, 2011

This beats tv any day of the week. Being an 80 years old lady  this is by far the best unit have ever owned. Son installed it for me and it is great sport with hurricane weather to know we actually got 10" of rain with Irene. Now my sons want one too. It never missed a beat with the storm.  Buy it. You are sure to love it.
